BRINGING TOGETHER BOARD AND /OR EXECUTIVES TO DISCUSS STRATEGY

We support Board and Executive teams through both an exploratory and structured process to define their strategy and recognise what is required to make it successful.  We have led Board and or Executive retreats, offsites, leadership days to brining perspectives forward, support constructive dialogue and provide leaders an immersive experience to think.  We custom design our workshop approach for each organisation.  This may include defining a sense purpose, agreeing strategic objectives, an assessment of the current state, where they will play, how they will succeed, the capabilities required and uncovering any barriers that may inhibit them realising the strategy.

PLANNING AND REALISING YOUR STRATEGY

Whilst a clear strategy is imperative to guide the organisation, defining it is only a small step on the way to success. Bringing your leadership team and people together to realise the strategy is where the hardwork takes place that leads to success. We work alongside your leaders to coach and support them along the way.  This may include defining the detailed initiatives that support the strategy, involving and consulting with people across the organisation and defining how they will monitor their progress towards achieving objectives.

PLANNING AND INTEGRATING A MERGER OR ACQUISITION

Mergers are hard work.  They take significant organisational time, effort and focus away from your core business.  We act as an independent advisor during deal selection to ensure appropriate fit and critiquing if perceived value can be realised.  We then continue to support with integration planning to ensure deal value is actually realised.   
For organisations that have recently completed a merger or acquisition and are yet to realise the intended value, we come in an perform a health check and develop a plan for capturing unrealised value.

IMPROVING YOUR OPERATING MODEL OR ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

Based on better practice organisational design and a customer centred view, we lead an assessment of existing business functions and define a plan for improving the value and capability of team. This may include a new organisational structure, improved technology, aligning the operating model and considering interactions with the broader organisation.  This can be performed across the whole organisation or at an individual business unit / function level,

STRATEGIC ADVISORY / COACHING

To support leaders and their people in realising the strategy, we work side by side with leaders to coach them along the way.  This includes fortnightly formal check in sessions to check in on progress, offer guidance and suggested approaches to solving problems including consulting tools and templates, as well as adhoc advice as required.

IMMERSIVE INSIGHT WORKSHOP SERIES

These workshops focus on creating 'deliberate mental space' for Boards and / or Executive teams to have meaningful dialogue on important organisational items.  Significant planning occurs prior to the workshop to bring together disparate information across the organisation and turn this into insights. During the session, attendees work through these insights in constructive group discussions to answer 'so what does this mean for our organisation?'. From here a plan of a pragmatic plan of action is developed to ensure meaningful progress and change can be made.
